Crafting an ambiance of introspection and self-discovery, "Unveiling Inner Shadows" will leverage darkness as a potent metaphor for fears that often go unnoticed. This exhibition will gently guide participants through a transformative experience, urging them to recognize and ultimately transcend the monsters that slumber within the concealed corners of their consciousness. The interplay of these two artworks within the overarching theme of "Unveiling Inner Shadows" aspires to seamlessly blend the transformative essence of darkness with the profound exploration of the human mind.
Meranku, a 24 year old artist and printmaker. I was always inspired by the dark side of life therefore I like to keep my art mysterious and unsettling, in order to let the viewer dive in the world I've created. The characters in my artworks represent my inner thoughts, fears and help me say everything I can't say out loud.
In the deep grooves of the human brain there is another universe that no one knows about where lives every single thought, and how fascinating it is if these thoughts unfold. That's when the world becomes a playground.
I studied Visual Arts at the European Institute of Design in Milan, and after I moved to Berlin, where I studied German, photography and I took a career-oriented coaching course. Thanks to my creativity and my attention to details I worked as illustrator, photographer, model freelancer and at the same time in art galleries and fashion agencies. I won several International competitions and my artworks have been exhibited and published in Italy, Austria, Germany, Portugal, U.S.A, Finland, Great Britain, Arab Emirates, France, China, Belgium, Canada and Metaverse.In 2017 I began to study Graphic Design & Communication in Vicenza, Italy. Today, finally, I deal with digital art and visual design.
